Toulouse Lautrec was a man who was very well known for regularly drinking absinthe. The man was pretty much addicted to the drink and purely obsessed. Toulouse Lautrec would make various paintings which would portray a bar scene with various people enjoying the green fairy. Toulouse Lautrec was just one of many men and women who regularly enjoyed absinthe back in those times. It was a drink which inspired a lot of artwork and literature and many brilliant minds were at their best while under the influence of absinthe. While some people may argue that there are many negative effects to drinking absinthe, there were so many famous people who were known for being so intelligent that would drink absinthe regularly so some will probably beg to differ. |
