All throughout the Internet you may notice that both the term ‘absinthe’ and ‘absinth’ are being used quite frequently. It can’t be that the two terms or both right, can it? Which term is correct? A lot of people wonder if what they are looking for is absinthe or absinth. They are both correct but different people spell it differently.

Absinthe is the term that is used (with the letter ‘e’ at the end) with French people. Absinthe was very popular in France ever since it was originally created and this term has pretty much regulated around the world.
Absinth
Absinth is the term that is used (without the letter ‘e’ at the end) with people from the Czech Reuplic. This spelling may be found on various absinthe bottles and across the Internet. Most commonly, the spelling would be on absinthe that was made in Czech which is rather popular nowadays.
You may use one term over the other if you are located in one of those places (France or Czech Republic) but the term which his usually used by everyone in general is absinthe. Both absinthe and absinth is the correct term to refer to for this alcoholic drink.
