Jason Webley was a music artist and he wrote a song about absinthe back when he was at the climax of his career. While he was not that well known, he is still a popular guy and his music was inspiring for many at the time. The song was entitled ‘Absinthe Makes the Heart Grow Fonder’ and it was all about how absinthe makes you feel. The lyrics followed according to the title. It was believed that Jason Webley was also an absinthe drinker as well.
His Death
Jason Webley committed suicide on a Halloween night. The black hat which he was famous for wearing was taken off his head and then he undressed and threw all of his clothes into a bonfire. Then he oddly shaved himself, got placed in a hearse and was taken off. However, this was not what people expected. Half a year later he was ‘reborn’ and all of this was a stage act. He would do this for five straight years where he vanished with a dramatic death scene and created an anticipated return to stage. Very awkward and it could all have been inspired by his imagination being set free while consuming absinthe.
Jason Webley was obviously influenced to make the song ‘Absinthe Makes the Heart Grow Fonder’ because of absinthe. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Jason Webley was also an enthusiastic absinthe drinker as well. Even though the climax of popularity for absinthe was about a century ago, many people still enjoy it to this date and it would probably explain his wild imagination and mysterious suicide stages. |
